ACCEPTANCE
By using the services that PEC Utility Management provides through nominated Web, Mobi-Site and Mobile Applications, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:
These T&Cs applies exclusively to your access to, and use of PEC’s Website, Mobi-Site and Mobile Application and does not alter in any way the T&Cs of any other agreement you have with PEC for products, systems, services or other.
PEC reserve the right to make changes and corrections to these T&C’s
SALE OF UTILITIES
PEC offers the user the option to purchase electricity, water and/or any other applicable utility service for certain types of pre-paid electricity meters via our Web, Mobi-site and Mobile Applications for certain designated buildings and/or complexes.
The price payable for a unit of electricity, water and/or any other applicable utility service shall be set as by the Local Authority/s Administration. Payment for utilities via this Site shall be affected by the User to PEC by way of a financial transaction.
The purchase of electricity, water and/or any other applicable utility service via this Site is subject to credit limitations or payment ceilings imposed by the Suer’s bank, and by the limits of the User’s utility meter.
REFUND POLICY
PEC will not process any refunds if the applicable wallet has been funded or a prepaid token has been generated.
Due to the consumable nature of electricity, water and gas utilities, should the User make a purchase in error or in excess of the User’s requirements, PEC shall be under no obligation to refund the User or to reverse the transaction. Accordingly, no cooling-off period as contemplated by section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 shall apply.
Although every effort is made to ensure that the User receives their purchased utilities immediately, PEC in no way warrants that the service will be completely uninterrupted and error free and that accordingly there may be a delay in the delivery of the purchased utility to the User.
USER RESPONSIBILITY
The User is responsible for keeping their login details to the payment platform safe to protect themselves from any unauthorised access.
If the User believes that there has been any breach of security such as the disclosure, theft or unauthorised use of the User’s Password or any payment information, the User must notify PEC immediately.
GOVERNING LAW
This site is a South African based web site. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and construed in terms of the law of the Republic of South Africa.

Payment may be made via our Payment Platform which offers VISA, MasterCard, Internet Banking and Mobicred options. The transaction currency is in South African Rands.
